Matilda Rhode

My research interests are broad but focus on the use of data for automation and insight into cyber security problems, mainly focussing on incident response and risk management. Beyond this I am interested in the human side of cyber security, especially what motivates decisions and behaviours from individual users, developers and adversaries to geo-political drivers.

I am the AI and Cyber Security sector lead at the British Standards Institution where I focus on strategy around standards development in these domains. I previously held roles in cyber security research at Airbus and have a mixed academic background including a PhD in malware detection and Bachelor's in social science.
